Ricky Palmer was again victorious as he went on to win Week 3 of the South West Title Match Qualifier at Bar501. The man from Bristol sealed top spot in his group sailing through to the last 8 where he would face off against Chris Naish. Again, Ricky managed to win 3-0 with an average of 80.52. Next up was a mouth-watering encounter with Steve Brown. Winning this game was crucial for both Ricky and Steve as they are sitting 1st and 2nd in the qualifying table. Despite Brown’s best efforts it was Ricky who prevailed, winning 4-3 in a last leg decider taking out a 116 checkout for a 15-dart leg. Onto the final now and Palmer, who at times was unplayable, came through a tough affair against Andrew McDermott, winning 4-2 with an average of 79.05. Ricky also won Week 4 of the South West Title Match Qualifier defeating Steve Brown in the final with an average of 88.15.

Event 2 of the Grand Prix RR at Highbridge Social Club in Somerset was won by David Williams. After topping his group with 4 wins from 4, David defeated Andy Elsey, Martin Taylor and Matthew Prosser on his way to the final without losing a leg. A high-quality game in the final followed and David kept up his good form beating Dan Cole by 4 legs to 1 with an average of 85.26. Event 3 of The Grand Prix was won by Tom Lonsdale. Tom averaged an astounding 100.2 in his semi-final game as he defeated Ashley Harrison 3-0. Lonsdale won the final 4-3 against Dan Cole averaging 87.48.

The Swanage Darts Series Event 4 was won in Dorset by Dan Perry. Perry had to come through a deciding leg in the last 8 against Sam Ward to win 4-3 with an 80.97 average. Into the semi-final and Dan faced off against Ricky King. Another brilliant game where Perry showed his class averaging 91.69 on his way to a 4-2 triumph to book his place in the final. A 4-0 win in the final for Dan would follow against John Clark. Jamie Elm was victorious in the plate competition. Without losing a leg from the last 16, Jamie defeated Thomas Moon in the final 3-0. Winning Event 5 was Owen Bowden. Owen defeated Carl Beattie 4-0 in the semi-final before getting the better of Jamie Elm by the same score line. Kevin Stanley won the plate competition defeating Travis Holland 3-2 in the final.

Jack Vincent was the champion of the Bradmoor Round Robin in Buckinghamshire. After finishing his group in top spot, Jack set up an encounter with Alan Slater. Managing to win 3-0, Vincent was through to the semi-final where he would come up against Jack Marshall. The man sponsored by Target would prove to be too much for Marshall as he won 3-1 to earn a place in the final. Martin Hill was Jack’s opponent in the final and Jack won emphatically as he averaged 86.71 on his way to a 3-0 win.

Moving up the country, Consett Station Club was the destination for the North East Title Match Qualifier Week 3, and it was ‘The Woolyback’ Shaun Matthews who came out on top. Shaun won 4-3 against Andrew Testo in the last 32 before defeating Scott Hunt 4-1 in the last 16. This set up a quarter final tie against week 2 winner Lewis Mayes. Shaun proved too much for Mayes as he stormed into the semi-final after a 4-0 win. A 4-3 win in the semi-final against the prolific Tony Wood set up a final against Ray Marshall. Again, Shaun continued his great night by overcoming Ray and winning 4-1 with an average of 94.52.

West Worthing Social Club in Sussex held a competition which was fantastically won by Rob Collins. Rob defeated Tavis Dudeney in the last 8, 2-0 with an average of 93.94. Moving onto the semi-final now and a format change to best of 5 saw Collins come through a last leg decider to get the better of Steve Collins winning 3-2. The man who is sponsored by Red Dragon was emphatic in the final as he beat Dan Bowley 3-1 averaging 87.94. Also held was another competition which Lee Clark won beating Connor Jeffs in the final 4-3.

Bradley Brooks won the Off the Rails Grand Slam of Darts in Crewe, Cheshire. The PDC star topped his group and then defeated Azza Russell in the quarter final 5-2. Brad beat Pj Lynskey 5-4 in the semi final before seeing off Daniel Ayres 6-5 in the final.

The Dartford Round Robin Grand Slam presented by South East Darts Promotions was championed by Lewy Williams. Williams came through his group in pole position with five wins from six games. The Welshman beat Eddy Donnelly 3-1 in the quarter final before proving too strong for Ronnie Rickner in the semi final as he raced to a 4-2 victory. Luke Hardy was his opponent in the final and despite the best efforts of Luke, he was on the end of a 5-2 defeat off Lewy Williams.

Adam Warner came through a brilliant field to win the Chorlton Riley’s GSoD in Manchester. Adam came through his group in second place meaning a tough tie in the last 16 against Callum Goffin would follow. A 4-3 win for Warner and a 94.36 average ensured his passage into the last 8 of the competition. Defeating Andrew Cass 4-2, set up a semi final tie with Andy Tucker. Although both players weren’t at their best, the game was still a tight one which Warner managed to come through winning 5-3. Kevin Garcia was Adam’s opponent in the final and it turned out to be Adam’s toughest game of the day winning 6-5 with a 91.11 average.

Gary Davey won Miss Q’s of Rochdale Remembrance Sunday GSoD after defeating Andy Tucker in the final 6-0 with an average of 77.74.

Week 4 of the North East Title Match Qualifier in Consett Station Club was won by John Purdy. John defeated Windy Miller 5-2 in the semi-final before winning in the final 5-4 against Raymond Marshall.

John Brown won a Round Robin competition at Bar501 in Bristol against a very competitive field. John defeated his dad, Steve Brown in the semi final 3-1 with an average of 88.66 before coming through a close encounter with Ryan Palmer 4-3.

The Southport Open 2022 was won by Callum Goffin. Playing excellent all day and averaging in the high 80s. Callum set up a semi final encounter with Sam Cromwell. Goffin maintained his good form and sealed his place in the final with a 6-2 win and an average of 88.29. Callum defeated Robert Rickwood in the final 6-2 with an average of 86.14.

Steve Hine won Bar 8 Team Coventry Darts Promotions Qualifier 4. ‘The Muffin Man’ was excellent in his semi final victory as he beat Tom Martin 5-2 with an average of 91.91. Hine then defeated Samuel Price 6-5 in the final.

The Wendover open in Aylesbury was won by James Richardson. James defeated the young Cam Crabtree in the semi final 5-2 before taking care of his son, Joshua Richardson 6-0 in the final with an average of 93.94. The plate competition was won by Phil Coward as he defeated Adam Mould in the final 3-0 with an average of 90.18.

Tony Wood won at the Consett Station Club Ranking Tournament Finals fresh from his great week at the MODUS Super Series. Tony defeated Paul Nesbitt in the semi final 6-3 and then went on to beat Windy Miller in the final 6-4 with an average of 83.37.

Merseyside, Riley’s GSoD was won by Steve Gow. Steve was too good in the semi-final where he played Kai Fan Luing and defeated him 4-2 with an 84 average. Gow defeated Adam Warner in the final 5-4 with an average of 84.63.

Cliff Prior won at the 6 & 1 Open Mega Grand Slam presented by South East Darts Promotions. Cliff topped his group and then went on to defeat John Parkinson in the semi final 4-2 before hammering former World Champion Rob Cross 5-1 with an average of 92.19.
